The True Gems in This World are Those who - like the late, great, but generally underrated Mike Moore - are Gentle on ('liberal with') Others and Hard on ('conservative with') Themselves...

...as a speaker in my particular denomination once elucidated upon at one of our annual or biannual/ biennial  'old-time' 'big tent' religious camp meetings...

...rather than those who are all too regularly tough on others and easy-ozy on/with themselves...

The contrast between the two couldn't be more stark, and heart-warming and/or bone-chilling...as Yours Truly had the great mishap to experience/encounter firsthand (once again) only yesterday...

Thankfully my LORD and Saviour is and was and has ever been of the former class...

...and that, as they say, has made all the difference in the world...

...and indeed universe...

...for all those willing to accept it...
