New Zealand Foreign Affairs Minister Murray McCully - and his Green Party counterpart Kennedy Graham, of Sir Douglas' persuasion - are right on the ball in regard to what should be the international pariah nation of - no, not Israel, as is usually the case, but - Syria, a brutal regime 'run by a thug', as someone so well expressed it yesterday on one of TV3's various Sunday morning current affairs shows.
